Using the 8 Wedding Films wedding registry you will conveniently allow your wedding guests to contribute to a cinematic wedding film that will help you relive your big day, every day.
How does it work?
Simply share the link at the bottom of this page with your guests. They will choose from several different levels of gift size, and checkout as if they were purchasing anything else online. Shortly thereafter, they will receive a confirmation of their gift, as well as a certificate number. You will receive a physical card or e-card with a personal message from the contributor. The contributors will also be included in the post film credits.
What if this gift registry is set up to help us purchase the BASE package, but only a few people choose to contribute and we choose to cancel?
When you set up a gift registry, 8 Wedding Films will send you a contract that simply explains that the wedding date is reserved by a non-refundable 35% deposit, and all gifts received using the gift registry will deduct off of the package amount. The standard payment structure remains the same.
- 35% to reserve the date
- 35% before or at videographers arrival at the wedding
- 30% two weeks after completion of the film
What if we receive MORE than the needed amount for the desired package?
8 Wedding Films will contact you when the amount has been reached. You will then need to decide to:
- Use the funds to upgrade to a higher package.
- Use the funds to purchase specific package add-ons
- receive the funds personally, minus a 4% handling. (this is simply our transaction fees for our secure checkout process)
What if we receive LESS than the needed amount for the desired package?
8 Wedding Films will contact you and make you aware of the final gifted amount. You will then need to decide to:
- Use the funds to upgrade to a higher package and personally pay the difference.
- Use the funds to purchase specific package add-ons that are much less than a complete package upgrade.
- Receive the funds personally, minus a 4% handling fee. (this is simply our transaction fees for our secure checkout process)
